Welcome to the exhibition on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the First World War
On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the First World War 17 January 2017 at the National Museum of history of Ukraine during World War II will host an exhibition of artifacts of the time found by searchers of NGO "Union "People's Memory" during the expedition on the ground of fighting in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Some artifacts will be exhibited in the Museum temporarily, but the majority of them will stay forever. At the exhibition one will see: rings, medals, badges and cockades, fragments of ammunition, mirrors, combs, watches... At first sight, these are ordinary things, but with the history of a long centuries. Some of them are damaged with time, some of them are almost like new and each of these things will be able to surprise you.
One of the most important exhibits one should call a medallion which our searchers have recently been able to decipher. It still has significance because in it there is the fate of the soldier, the relatives of which we hope to find.
Inviting to the Exhibition's opening those not indifferent to history and simply all who are overwhelmed with curiosity to the history of our region!
