Solemn reburial of soldiers will be held in honor of the Day of Memory and Grief
June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at the memorial complex of Lypivka village (Kyiv Region) in the framework of "Memory of Kyiv Region" All-Ukrainian Watch there will take place a solemn reburial of 10 soldiers of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
They deceased in 1941, defending the distant approaches of Kyiv. The searchers of Obelisk AYSO (Union People's Memory NGO), together with the representatives of Regional Organization - Poshuk 171 local History Club found the remains of the fallen defenders of the Motherland on the territory of Makariv district. The names of three soldiers were managed to identify.
Along with them there will be interred the remains of deceased members of the crew, found during the expedition on raising the Bomber SB-2.
The reburial ceremony will be attended by the representatives of the district administration, mass media, ATO veterans and villagers.
Also at the premises of school of Lypivka village there will be presented a museum exhibition.
