There were established the names of 902 servicemen, found 90 families that received a piece of note about the fate of their relatives after 70-100 years.
Thanks to the work of searchers, the land of Ukraine was freed from 52 543 explosive objects remained from that war.
The museums of our country were handed over about 24 704 exhibits, several thousand unique documents of our history.
There was organized the permanent work of hotline – 0-800-210-135, which receives calls from eyewitnesses and witnesses of possible burial sites related to the tragic events on our long-suffering land. Information is promptly worked out by our partners on the ground. This gives confidence that all the names one managed to regained from oblivion will be saved for our history and the memory of our descendants.
For the past two years one managed to create a multifunctional database that is currently under active filling. It allows to automatically keep records of all information received on the possible places of loss of aerial vehicles, combat vehicles and previously unknown burial places of victims of war crimes and political repression, and to make already obtained results of the conducted search works. According to this principle, there was a unique automated platform on the basis of the data obtained in the course of conducting "Black Tulip" Humanitarian Mission. The accumulated information in it is exceptional in our country and has repeatedly helped the services, engaged in the search process and identification of missing people, to obtain the necessary additional information.
Initiatives and projects of NGO Union People's Memory
