Findings of Kakhovka MPC replenished the museum’s exposition
Recently, the searchers of Kakhovka Military-Patriotic Club (Union People's Memory NGO) have officially handed over to Kherson Regional Museum the artifacts found during the expeditions to former places of battles of the Second World War.
The artifacts were found last year, when traditionally, March 13th, in honor of Kherson town's liberation (1943) the next search season began. Then, at the Kherson Bridgehead near Oleshki (Tsyurupinsk), was raised by the remains of 14 soldiers of the red army. Also, there were discovered the above-mentioned artifacts of the period of 1943.
The handover of artifacts was attended by the museum staff, citizens and mass media.
